Hinging
The piece attached to the mount with archival hinges, never tape directly on the art. Reversible, because someday someone will want to undo it.
STAGE THREE
Mitering
Frame corners cut and joined at a true 90 degrees, checked with a square, not eyeballed.
STAGE FOUR
Glazing
UV-filtering glass set in last, so the piece is protected without ever touching the surface.
